AP govt clears 855-acre land allocation to Reliance for AI data centre project.

Andhra Pradesh Cabinet recently approved the allotment of 855 acres of land to Reliance Industries for the establishment of a giga-scale artificial intelligence data centre in Bhogapuram.

The land parcel is spread across the villages of Polipally, Bhogapuram East and Bhogapuram West in Visakhapatnam district. The proposed site is strategically located near the upcoming cable landing station and the under-development international airport, providing key infrastructure support for large-scale digital and data operations.

As part of the project incentives, Reliance Industries will receive a 25 per cent concession on the land value, in addition to other investment incentives available under the state government’s existing industrial policy norms. Officials said the project is expected to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s position as an emerging hub for digital infrastructure and AI-driven technology investments.
