AP CM Naidu Seeks ₹5,000 Crore from Centre for Capital Investment.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has requested an additional ₹5,000 crore from the central government under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme.

During a meeting with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday in New Delhi, Naidu appealed for financial support for various development projects in Andhra Pradesh. The state has already received ₹2,010 crore through the SASCI scheme.

The Chief Minister's representation to the Finance Minister also included a request for the release of ₹250 crore for the fiscal year 2024-25 under the Single Nodal Agency (SNA Sparsh) incentive scheme.
