Animation City to Come Up in Hyderabad.

The state government has come out with its Andhra Pradesh Gaming, Animation, Media and Entertainment (GAME) Policy 2014-19 for promoting the fast-emerging segment of IT sector. A Government Order to that effect was issued recently.

Andhra Pradesh Animation and Gaming City will be set up initially in Hyderabad in an appropriate extent of land by the government through AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC). It shall have Incubation Centre, where state-of-the-art 'walk to work' and 'plug and play' built-up office space is provided at subsidised rates to first-generation technocrat entrepreneurs, SMEs engaged in GAME activities, and consist of all common amenities like housing, recreation, schooling, entertainment and medical.
