Andhra Pradesh CM Naidu Announces Viability Gap Funding for Major Infrastructure Projects.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that the state government is prepared to offer Viability Gap Funding (VGF) for key infrastructure projects, with a special focus on those related to the port-linked economy.

Speaking at the East Coast Maritime Logistics Summit in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said the state aims to generate approximately 3% of its Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) from the logistics sector.

He added that master plans are currently being developed to improve connectivity to all ports along Andhra Pradesh’s 974 km coastline, with the goal of harnessing the state's full potential in this sector.
