Ambo Agritec Ltd Plans Expansion in FMCG Sector.

Ambo Agritec Limited has launched strategic initiatives to strengthen its presence in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) segment by expanding retail operations, enhancing distribution infrastructure, and diversifying its product offerings.

As part of this expansion, the company has signed a Master Franchise Agreement with Fleet Labs Technologies Private Limited to establish 30 new Apna Mart retail stores by June 2025. These stores, primarily targeting Tier II and Tier III cities in West Bengal, aim to improve consumer reach and product accessibility.

Additionally, Ambo Agritec is rolling out nine new depots under its Direct-to-Retail (D2R) distribution model, with plans to expand to 20 depots by September 2025. These depots will enhance supply chain efficiency, optimize inventory management, and ensure faster, more reliable deliveries to retail partners.

The company is also diversifying its FMCG portfolio by introducing Extruded Snacks, Namkeen, and Bakery products under the Ambo brand. These new offerings will be distributed through the expanded retail network and D2R depots, strengthening Ambo Agritec’s foothold in high-growth FMCG categories.

With the Indian namkeen market projected to reach USD 13 billion by 2026 and the bakery market expected to grow to USD 31.5 billion by 2033, Ambo Agritec is well-positioned to capitalize on emerging consumer trends and drive revenue growth through its retail and distribution expansion.
