Amber Enterprises announced a significant investment of ₹200 crore to establish a quantum cryogenic components facility in the Amaravati Quantum Valley. The decision was made public by Jasbir Singh, Chairman and CEO of Amber Enterprises, following a meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu recently.
The new facility is set to be a key player in India’s efforts to build a strong domestic quantum hardware ecosystem. "This proposed project will play a crucial role in strengthening India’s indigenous quantum hardware ecosystem by facilitating the development of advanced cryogenic solutions," Singh said during a high-level meeting with partners in the quantum ecosystem. He noted that this technology is vital for the functionality of superconducting quantum computers.
Singh emphasized that the project represents a major leap for the nation. "This project is a big step forward in India’s journey to build a quantum computing ecosystem," he stated.
