Akvo Atmospheric Water Systems Pvt Ltd, a leader in water technology, has officially launched its Water-on-Want (WoW) initiative in Tamil Nadu for corporate clients. This innovative model offers a Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) contract structure based on operational expenditure (OPEX), enabling businesses to access Akvo’s advanced water generation technology without any initial capital investment (CAPEX).

The WoW initiative, which has been fine-tuned during an 18-month pilot phase, allows corporations to meet their daily water requirements in a sustainable, cost-effective, and risk-free manner, without the financial burden of investing in infrastructure.

Under this model, the minimum daily water offtake is 500 litres per day (LPD). Akvo’s approach sets a new standard for water sourcing and usage in the corporate sector, providing an innovative solution for businesses seeking reliable, environmentally-friendly water solutions.

The OPEX-based BOOT contract means that clients will not purchase the equipment but instead pay a variable fee based on water consumption, with a competitive per-litre rate. Akvo will own, install, maintain, and operate the Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs) throughout the duration of the contract, ensuring a seamless, risk-free process for clients.
