Aitken Spence signs agreement with Desert Nights
Colombo: Aitken Spence Hotels has signed an agreement with Desert Nights LLC to manage its luxury property Desert Nights Camp in Oman, making it the fifth property in the Middle East to be managed by Aitken Spence.
Desert Nights Camp is located two hours away from the City of Muscat on the dazzling sands of Al Wasil in the Sharqiya region.
The luxury desert camp with 32 tent units will provide our guests with five star facilities and services unimaginable in the desert, Chief Executive Officer of Aitken Spence Hotels in Oman D. Prithiviraj said.
Aitken Spence, which was the first Sri Lankan hotel company to enter the Maldives (1993) and India (2007), broke new ground once again when it entered the Middle East earlier this year. Al Falaj and Ruwi Hotel in Muscat, Al Wadi in Sohar and Sur Plaza in Sur were the first hotels in the Middle East to be managed by Aitken Spence.
With the addition of Desert Nights Camp, Aitken Spence will be managing a total of 450 rooms in Oman.

The company’s premier resorts operate under the brand Heritance and has recently launched its first Heritance property in India with the opening of Heritance Madurai.
The hotel, which comprises of 81 rooms including 35 villas, is the latest edition to the Heritance Hotels and Resorts portfolio which currently includes Heritance Ahungalla and Heritance Kandalama.
