Affordable Housing Project Launched in Bengaluru.

Real Estate property developer Sobha Limited announced their entry into the affordable housing segment with the launch of the 'Sobha Dream Acres' project in the city.

Primarily a premium housing space provider, Sobha's affordable housing segment will be in the range of 650-1,200 sq feet with a price of around Rs. 5,000 per square feet. Their first project will be located at Balagere and mainly cater to IT professionals.

The new project, being developed in an area of 81 acres, will have a total of 7,000 units in five phases.

Chairman Ravi Menon said they had been planning the project for over one and a half years.

He said the project will use precast blocks to reduce costs, which is prevalent in Finland, Singapore and other parts of Europe.
