Aerospace Industries Signs MoU to Develop ‘Drone City’ in Andhra Pradesh.

Aerospace Industries has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh government to provide its technical expertise for the development of the state’s upcoming Drone City.

Under the agreement, the company will contribute to building key technologies for the project, including unmanned defence systems and heavy-lift electric VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) platforms. Its experience in establishing safety frameworks, testing standards, and full-stack autonomous aviation infrastructure aligns closely with the Drone City’s vision of creating a comprehensive ecosystem for unmanned systems.

The Drone City is expected to become a major hub for drone technology in India, strengthening domestic capabilities and reducing dependence on foreign suppliers.
