ACME Solar Secures ₹1,100 Crore SBI Refinancing for 300 MW Rajasthan Project.

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has announced a ₹1,100 crore refinancing deal with the State Bank of India for its 300 MW operational renewable energy project in Rajasthan. The refinancing is expected to lower financing costs by around 100 basis points for the CRISIL AA- rated subsidiary.

The 17-year refinancing arrangement targets a project that has been operational for about six months and has consistently achieved strong capacity utilisation levels, the company said in a statement.

This move is part of ACME Solar’s ongoing strategy to optimise financing costs across its project portfolio and improve its credit profile through potential rating upgrades. The reduced debt servicing burden is also expected to strengthen the company’s financial foundation as it accelerates its capacity expansion plans in the renewable energy sector.
