Accor to Expand India Presence Through New Brand Launches.
Accor is seeing strong growth in India and is in active talks with developers to expand its portfolio of luxury and lifestyle hotels across the country, according to Gaurav Bhushan, Group CEO of Ennismore, the hospitality group’s lifestyle division.
“Operating performance in India is strong despite the crisis in West Asia. We have an incredible pipeline and that is building up nicely,” Bhushan said.
On Friday, Ennismore opened Roswyn, A Morgans Original in Mumbai, marking the first property under the Morgans Original brand in the country. The hotel, located near the airport, features 109 suites ranging from 80 to 175 square metres.
Room tariffs at the property start at around ₹35,000-40,000 per night, targeting the luxury hospitality segment as the group looks to strengthen its presence in India’s growing premium travel market.
