Global tech consultancy Accenture has proposed establishing a new campus in Andhra Pradesh, with plans to create approximately 12,000 jobs in India, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The proposal aligns with a growing trend among IT giants, following similar moves by Tata Consultancy Services and Cognizant. These companies are capitalizing on Andhra Pradesh’s new policy, which offers leased land at a highly subsidized rate of 0.99 rupees (around $0.0112) per acre to large firms that commit to generating substantial employment.
