₹34,000 Crore Investments Cleared by Tamil Nadu Cabinet, 55,000 Jobs in Pipeline
The Tamil Nadu Cabinet recently approved 15 industrial investment projects worth ₹34,000 crore, expected to create nearly 55,000 jobs across the state.
Industries Minister TRB Rajaa said the approvals include expansion plans by Hyundai, highlighting the government’s push to attract major industrial players.
Briefing the media after the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister MK Stalin, Rajaa added that the projects will be established across multiple districts, including Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur, Ranipet, Tiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Namakkal, Perambalur, Tiruchirappalli, Karur, Tiruppur, Ramanathapuram, and Thoothukudi.
The approvals reflect Tamil Nadu’s focus on boosting industrial investment and generating large-scale employment opportunities across the state.
