15 mega projects get commissioned in Punjab.

The Punjab government recently said 15 mega projects involving capital outlay of Rs. 2,266.67 crore have started commercial operations.

Stating this, Punjab Industry & Commerce Minister Madan Mohan Mittal said the timely commissioning of all these mega projects was ensured by regular monitoring of the implementation of these projects in the state.

Among major mega projects which have started their operations were Chadha Sugars in Gurdaspur with investment of Rs. 300 crore, Nahar Spinning Mills in Malerkotla at Rs. 253.22 crore, Max India in Nawan Sahar at Rs. 145 crore, etc.
