"Zoetis to Enhance Capability Center in Hyderabad"
Zoetis Inc., a global leader in animal health, has announced plans to expand its Zoetis India Capability Center in Hyderabad. This expansion, set to open in September 2024, aims to bolster the company’s innovative technology portfolio and create a significant number of new jobs.
The announcement was made during a meeting between Zoetis' management team and Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who is currently on a tour in the U.S. with a high-level delegation.
Chief Minister Reddy expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, “We are delighted with Zoetis’ decision to expand their Zoetis India Capability Center in Hyderabad. This decision reflects the thriving ecosystem we have cultivated in Telangana, where businesses are supported to grow and innovate.”
He added, “Zoetis’ investment in cutting-edge technologies aligns with our vision of making Hyderabad a global hub for advanced technologies and life sciences.”
Keith Sarbaugh, Chief Information Officer at Zoetis, highlighted Hyderabad’s suitability for the expansion: “Hyderabad is the ideal location for our Zoetis India Capability Center, offering a wealth of talent and a robust Life Sciences innovation ecosystem. Our decision to expand here underscores our commitment to advancing the future of animal health and technology innovation.”
Zoetis, a Fortune 500 company, is the world’s leading animal health firm, generating $8.5 billion in revenue in 2023 and employing approximately 14,100 people globally.
