Vikran Engineering Secures ₹354-Crore Solar EPC Contract in Maharashtra.
Vikran Engineering has won a ₹354-crore turnkey EPC contract from Ellume Energy MH SolarOne for developing a 100 MW AC/120 MW DC solar power project in Maharashtra, the company said on Monday.
The project, to be executed on a lump-sum basis, includes the complete design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar power plant. Major equipment such as PV modules, inverters, and transformers will be sourced from tier-1 manufacturers meeting IEC and BIS standards, with strict compliance to safety and technical norms.
Rakesh Markhedkar, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikran Engineering, said the order reinforces the company’s position in large-scale renewable energy EPC projects and aligns with its goal of expanding in clean energy infrastructure. The project is expected to boost Maharashtra’s renewable energy capacity and contribute to India’s overall green energy targets.
