"UP CM Launches ₹1,231 Crore Development Projects in Ambedkar Nagar"

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated 6,778 development projects worth ₹1,231 crore in Ambedkar Nagar and distributed sports kits to local youths. The projects, unveiled during a public rally, are part of the state’s ongoing efforts to boost infrastructure and public welfare.

Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi Adityanath highlighted the significance of the occasion, remarking, “Yesterday was Ganesh Chaturthi, and while the country celebrated, the people of Ambedkar Nagar are receiving ₹1,231 crore in projects. What could be more special than this?”

The Chief Minister reflected on improvements in law and order since his government took office in 2017, contrasting the current situation with the previous administration's record. He accused the former Samajwadi Party and Congress-led government of allowing mafias to operate with impunity and neglecting the needs of the poor. “The state government had no interest beyond power,” he said, emphasizing the progress made under his leadership, including a reduction in criminal activity and the peaceful celebration of festivals.

Adityanath criticized other political parties for employing policies of appeasement and alleged that previous governments had obstructed religious and cultural programs. He noted the advancement of development projects, including the Jal Jeevan Mission schemes, and promised the construction of 140 tube wells and a bypass at Kathari, aimed at providing employment and improving water access.

The Chief Minister also emphasized that welfare schemes are benefiting all communities impartially. “In Ambedkar Nagar alone, 560,000 homes have been built for the poor. Highways and roads will benefit everyone, regardless of their political affiliation or religion,” he asserted.

Earlier in the day, CM Yogi Adityanath participated in the 'Janta Darshan' program at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, where he addressed public grievances. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar also visited the Gorakhpur district on September 7, offering prayers at Goraknath Temple and inaugurating the first Sainik School in the district. Vice President Dhankhar and CM Yogi later inaugurated a shooting range at the school, where they both tried shooting.
