U-Sphere Announces ₹1,000 Crore Investment as It Enters Karnataka Market.

U-Sphere, the construction arm of Kerala-based labour cooperative ULCCS, has announced its entry into Karnataka with plans to invest ₹1,000 crore over the next three years as part of its expansion strategy.

The move marks the company’s first venture outside Kerala, with Bengaluru identified as the launchpad for its operations in the state. U-Sphere expects Karnataka to play a pivotal role in its long-term vision of expanding its footprint across India.

“We see significant opportunities in Karnataka, especially in Bengaluru, where the construction industry is facing labour shortages, sustainability challenges and increasing demand for faster project execution,” said Biju Mahima, CEO of U-Sphere.

The company aims to leverage its expertise in construction and workforce management to address evolving industry needs, while capitalising on the growing demand for efficient and sustainable building solutions in one of India’s fastest-growing urban markets.

The planned investment underscores U-Sphere’s ambitions to strengthen its presence beyond Kerala and establish itself as a key player in the country’s construction sector.
