Sterlite Technologies Receives ₹960-Crore Order Boost.

Sterlite Technologies Ltd (STL) has received an order from a domestic telecom operator for the supply of optical fibre cables customised to meet the customer’s technical specifications and network requirements.

The order, valued at approximately ₹960 crore, is part of a multi-year supply agreement covering FY28 and FY29. The agreement can be extended by an additional two years subject to mutual consent between the parties.

Under the contract, STL will manufacture and supply high-performance optical fibre cables designed in line with the telecom operator’s specific technical guidelines and network architecture requirements.

The execution of the order is scheduled across FY28 and FY29, with the contract providing a framework for long-term supply support. The company said the order strengthens its position in the telecom infrastructure segment and supports its ongoing focus on providing advanced connectivity solutions.
