Sterlite bags order worth Rs. 2,450 crore.
Pune-based Sterlite Technologies, provider of transmission solutions for the telecom and power industries and a part of the Vedanta Group said that it has managed to bag two orders worth Rs. 2,450 crore. Taking the company’s current order book to Rs. 4,500 to 5,000 crore.
The company said it has received a purchase order form Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) for end-to-end deployment including design, engineering, implementation and maintenance of a part of Network for Spectrum (NFS) project. The total contract size of the deal is Rs. 500 crore.
It also signed up with Jammu & Kashmir to lay an optical fiber cable (OFC) network in the state. The size of which is expected to be around Rs. 1,950 crore.
