Shell Commences Production from Victory Gas Field in North Sea.

Shell announced recently that it has commenced production from its Victory gas field in the North Sea. At peak output, the field can produce approximately 150 million standard cubic feet of gas per day, equivalent to around 25,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

The gas from Victory will supply homes, businesses, and power generation facilities across the UK, providing energy to nearly 900,000 households annually at full capacity.

This new production contributes to Shell’s broader strategy to deliver gas projects with a combined output exceeding 1 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed) by the end of the decade, supporting the company’s commitment to meeting growing energy demands.
