Rs. 30 crore sanctioned for court buildings.

The large five-acre area on the District Courts premises, on the side of Waltair main road, on which once stood old buildings of some courts, is all set to see construction activity soon.

The State government has sanctioned Rs. 30 crore for construction of buildings for courts and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has assured a delegation of the Visakhapatnam Bar Association, consisting of its president K.S. S. Suresh Kumar, secretary Ch. Sekhar and others along with members of the AP Bar Council B.V.R. Murthy and S. Krishna Mohan during his present visit to the city that construction would be taken up soon.

The Bar Association office-bearers said the Chief Minister was also invited to participate in the foundation laying function along with Chief Justice of the High Court.

The advocates recalled that several courts are functioning from inadequate accommodation.
