Raw Edge Industrial Solutions Limited, a prominent manufacturer and supplier of industrial raw materials, has taken a significant step towards environmental sustainability with the installation of a 575 KW Solar PV Power Plant at its facility in Panoli, GIDC.

The solar power plant, with a projected lifespan of approximately 25 years, underscores Raw Edge's commitment to adopting eco-friendly practices and reducing its carbon footprint. The installation is expected to contribute significantly to the company's energy needs, providing a cost-effective and sustainable source of power.

Mr. Bimal Bansal, Managing Director of Raw Edge Industrial Solutions Limited, commented on the project, saying, "Our manufacturing facilities require substantial amounts of electricity, and with rising energy costs, this solar power plant is a strategic move. It will significantly improve our cash flow and overall profitability over time by lowering our energy expenses."

The solar panels have been installed on the roof of the Panoli plant, harnessing the power of the sun to fuel the company's operations. The company estimates that the cost of the solar power plant will be recouped through energy savings within the first three years of operation, with substantial savings expected over the remaining 22 years of the plant's lifespan.
