PM to Inaugurate Key Development Projects in Prayagraj.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Prayagraj to inaugurate several key development projects and perform religious rituals as part of preparations for the 2025 Mahakumbh Mela. Scheduled to arrive around 12:15 PM, the Prime Minister’s visit will begin with a ceremonial pooja and darshan at the Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.

He will continue with religious observances at the Akshay Vata Vriksh, Hanuman Mandir, and Saraswati Koop. Following these rituals, Modi will visit the Mahakumbh exhibition site and inaugurate infrastructure projects worth ₹5,500 crore, focused on enhancing the city's infrastructure ahead of the grand event.

Key initiatives include the construction of 10 new Road Over Bridges (RoBs) and flyovers, permanent ghats, and riverfront roads to improve connectivity and ease travel. Projects aimed at preventing untreated sewage from flowing into the Ganga, including systems for intercepting and treating drains, will also be launched.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate vital infrastructure projects related to drinking water and power supply. Efforts to boost spiritual tourism will include the launch of major temple corridors such as the Bharadwaj Ashram, Shringverpur Dham, Akshayvat, and Hanuman Mandir corridors, facilitating smoother access for pilgrims.

Modi will also introduce the Kumbh Sah'AI'yak chatbot, a digital assistant providing real-time updates and guidance to visitors during the Mahakumbh Mela.
