PM Modi Inaugurates ₹4,400 Crore Projects in Madurai, Says Centre Aims to Develop Tamil Nadu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently emphasized that the Centre’s “collective goal” is to develop Tamil Nadu as part of building a developed India. Speaking after inaugurating infrastructure projects worth over ₹4,400 crore in Madurai, he stressed the state’s pivotal role in the nation’s future.

“Our collective goal is a developed Tamil Nadu for a developed India. Every Indian is inspired to build a developed nation by 2047. Tamil Nadu will play a decisive role in shaping the nation's destiny,” the Prime Minister said.

He further assured that the Centre would remain fully committed to promoting inclusive development and supporting Tamil Nadu’s progress, reinforcing the government’s focus on regional growth as part of India’s broader development objectives.
