Om Infra Secures ₹568.98-Crore Water Infrastructure Project in Chhattisgarh.

Om Infra Limited has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a major water resources infrastructure project in Chhattisgarh, according to data released by the state's Water Resources Department.

The contract involves the construction of the Mohmela Sirpur Barrage Project on the Mahanadi River in Arang tehsil of Raipur district, along with associated works, including a pipe irrigation network and operation and maintenance services for five years after completion of construction.

The project has a contract value of ₹568.98 crore, the company said.

Commenting on the development, Om Infra management said the company was encouraged by being declared the lowest bidder for the project, describing it as a significant milestone in its infrastructure portfolio.

The company said the project highlights its execution capabilities in complex civil engineering works, including barrage construction, hydro-mechanical systems and advanced micro-irrigation solutions.

Om Infra added that the project is expected to contribute to efficient and sustainable water management in the region through modern irrigation infrastructure.
