Noida International Airport Scheduled to Launch Passenger Services on June 15.

Noida International Airport (NIA) recently announced that it will begin commercial flight operations from June 15, marking a major milestone for the long-delayed greenfield aviation project in Uttar Pradesh.

The airport operator said India’s largest carrier, IndiGo, will operate the inaugural passenger flight. It will be followed shortly by services from Akasa Air and Air India Express, according to an official statement.

The launch of operations comes after the airport’s inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the subsequent approval of its Aerodrome Security Programme (ASP) by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security.

With this development, Noida International Airport moves closer to becoming a key aviation hub, expected to ease air traffic pressure on the National Capital Region and expand connectivity across northern India.
