L&T wins new order from HEML

New Delhi: Engineering major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured an order worth Rs 700 crore from HPCL-Mittal Energy (HEML), a joint venture of the government-owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and Mittal Energy Investments.

The order involves setting up two 44,000 tonnes capacity hydrogen generation units for HEML's Bhatinda refinery.

The order has been awarded on a lump sum turnkey basis and L&T’s scope of work includes residual process design, detailed engineering, procurement, supply, transportation, storage, fabrication, inspection, construction, installation, testing, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
