Logica unveils second Spark Innovation Centre

Bangalore: Logica launched its second Spark Innovation Centre here.

The centre in India focuses on mobility solutions of the future in the areas of intelligent transportation, wireless monitoring of vehicle emissions, dynamic vehicle insurance and targeted interactive advertising solutions, the company said in a statement.

The centre, focussed around mobility, would 'demonstrate to customers the company's innovative abilities and solutions'.

The first centre was launched in May 2008 in Lisbon around the theme of energy and utilities.

A third innovation centre will shortly be launched in Amstelveen and would focus on 'payments' with more centres planned in the months ahead.

'The Spark centres enable Logica to showcase its capabilities in identifying white spaces for innovation and the ability to develop technologies and solutions to address them', it said.
