Lenexis Foodworks Embarks on Expansion, Aims for 100 Stores by March 2025.
Lenexis Foodworks, the parent company of Chinese Wok and Big Bowl Company, has announced ambitious plans to expand its footprint by opening 100 new stores and entering 20 additional cities by the end of FY25. This move is part of the company’s post-COVID growth strategy, which has already seen significant success, with Chinese Wok reporting 100% revenue growth and a 70% rise in same-store sales over the past six months.
The expansion will focus on both new and existing locations, including malls, high streets, and cloud kitchens. Currently, Lenexis Foodworks operates across 60 malls, 60 cloud kitchens, and 80 high streets. The company aims to further solidify its presence in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, which are expected to contribute 80-90% of Chinese Wok's growth in the coming years.
To support this rapid expansion, Lenexis Foodworks plans to hire 2,000 additional employees within the next six months, growing its current workforce of 3,000.
Founded in 2015, Lenexis Foodworks specializes in Indianized Chinese cuisine and has established a presence in major cities like Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Delhi, among others. Recently, the company opened its first store in Kolkata and has plans to expand into other eastern cities such as Patna, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Ranchi, Raipur, and Vizag.
