"Kerala secures massive ₹1.17L Cr investment commitments at WEF Davos."
Kerala has secured investment commitments and expressions of interest worth over ₹1.17 lakh crore (about $14 billion) at the 56th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) held in Davos, Switzerland.
The commitments were garnered by a high-level State delegation led by Industries Minister P. Rajeeve, which showcased Kerala’s industrial and business ecosystem to global investors and corporate leaders.
According to the State government, the proposals and expressions of interest span a wide range of sectors, including renewable energy, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), skill development, financial services, tourism and wellness, medical infrastructure, and manufacturing.
The outreach at the WEF highlighted Kerala’s focus on sustainable development, skilled manpower, and investor-friendly policies, helping attract significant global interest across emerging and traditional industries.
