Japan Announces ₹3,000 Crore Investment Boost for Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday invited Japanese companies to expand their presence in the state and explore new investment opportunities. Speaking at the UP-Japan Investment Meet, he highlighted Uttar Pradesh as an emerging destination for manufacturing, technology, research and development, skill development and global supply-chain activities. The event witnessed participation from more than 200 Japanese investors and business leaders, reflecting growing economic ties between Japan and the state. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and attracting investments across sectors. The state government also encouraged Japanese businesses to establish long-term operations and contribute to Uttar Pradesh’s industrial and economic development.
