Greenko Group plans to set up an 'Energy and Oil City' in Orissa

Orissa: Greenko Group, has proposed to set up an 'Energy and Oil City' at Sonepur in south Orissa's Ganjam district at an investment of Rs 15,000 crore.

The project includes a port, a ship building unit, a 1000 MW gas-based power plant, a desalination plant with a capacity of 120 mn litre per day and a modern township for accommodating 10,000 people.
