GE Aerospace Commits ₹100 Crore to Pune Manufacturing Expansion.

GE Aerospace will invest ₹100 crore in its Pune manufacturing facility to support infrastructure upgrades and related enhancements as the company expands its presence in India.

With this latest commitment, the aerospace major’s total investment in the facility over the past three years has reached ₹510 crore. The Pune unit manufactures critical components for commercial aircraft engines.

Announcing the investment on Monday, GE Aerospace said the funds will be used to deploy new welding technologies, advanced inspection equipment, precision tools, gauges and fixtures, along with additional infrastructure improvements.

The company said the upgrades are aimed at increasing production capacity, improving process precision, and strengthening its ability to deliver high-quality components to customers globally.
