Gati opens distribution centre in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Gati Ltd, the logistics company, has launched its 1.8 lakh sq. ft modern mechantronic express distribution centre (EDC) at Jeedimetla in Hyderabad.

Mr K.L. Chugh, Gati Chairman, and Mr Mahendra Agarwal, Managing Director & CEO, inaugurated the facility.

Mr Mahendra Agarwal, Managing Director & CEO, Gati Ltd, said the EDC is equipped with the most modern warehousing technologies and equipment.

It is geared to meet the demanding logistics requirements of today’s businesses especially industry verticals such as FMCG, retail, apparel and fashion, automotive, pharmaceutical and healthcare, telecom and high tech, agrochem etc., according to a company press release.

Gati’s warehousing capabilities are spread over a 2 million sq. ft. area. This world–class mechantronic warehouses are located strategically across the country.
