Farm and construction equipment maker Escorts Kubota has announced a ₹2,000 crore investment to set up a new manufacturing plant in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) industrial area in Uttar Pradesh.

The facility will be developed across 154 acres in Sector 10 of Gautam Buddha Nagar and is expected to be one of the largest manufacturing facilities of its promoter, Kubota Group, globally, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The plant will be developed in phases, with a total indicative investment outlay of more than ₹2,000 crore. It will manufacture tractors, farm implements, construction equipment and engines, catering to both domestic and international markets.
