China's CSCEC ME wins $130m EPC deal for Adnoc's Qushawira field.

CSCEC ME signed the $130m (AED477m) contract with Petrofac Emirates to work on Adnoc’s onshore oil and gas project. The deal covers the delivery of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, and the installation of a network of pipes.

“The signing of the contract symbolises that CSCEC ME has successfully made a breakthrough in the UAE’s oil and gas market, which indicates that the company has transformed the business strategy into execution,” the contractor said in the statement.

Phase 2 of the Qushawira Field Development includes the expansion of an existing crude oil production field that will increase capacity by 143,000 barrels, according to building intelligence platform ProTenders.

Facilities for a gas oil separation plant, gas injection compressors, booster pumps for the main oil line, and other associated facilities are also required for the project.
