BSNL to launch 3G services in J&K by March

Srinagar: State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) will launch the third generation (3-G) mobile services in Jammu & Kashmir by March this year, Mr Mittal, who looks after the mobile telephony of BSNL in the State, said.

Mr Mittal said there would be no limit on the number of 3G connections to be given out in the state and the sole criterion will be the response of the subscribers.

“We have not set any limit on the number of connections. We will give as many connections as the demand might be,'' he said. Mittal said the work on providing the 3G services in the state is in full swing and the services should be launched on the scheduled time.
