Bids submitted for training resort in Nolivarumfaru

Male: 3 parties have submitted bid proposals for the construction of a 200 bed training resort in Nolivarumfaru of Hdh atoll.

The 3 parties who submitted bid proposals are Ahmed Shareef of Nooreege / S.Hulhudhoo, Sheerene Mohamed of Sheeniyaz / Hdh Kulhudhuhfushi and Abdulla Waheed of Chiliyaage of S.Hulhudhoo.

The only valid proposal was submitted by Ahmed Shareef, the ministry said. Shareef proposed an average annual bed rent of US $ 2010 per bed per year.

At the bid opening ceremony held at Moo Kai Hotel on Sunday rent proposed by the 3 parties for a 10 year period was announced and displayed. The ministry also revealed that two of the three bid proposals were not complete.

Ministry further revealed that it will take approximately 90 days to fully evaluate the proposal.
