"Baya Systems ramps up Bengaluru operations to fuel AI and Automotive innovation."

Baya Systems has inaugurated its expanded engineering hub in Bengaluru as it scales up global engineering capacity to meet growing demand for AI infrastructure.

In under two years, the company’s Bengaluru operations have evolved into a key global engineering centre, contributing significantly to the development and delivery of Baya Systems’ software-defined semiconductor fabric technologies. These technologies enable scalable, high-performance, chiplet-based systems used in artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) applications worldwide.

The Bengaluru office, which began operations in 2023 with a five-member team alongside the company’s inception, has grown to more than 50 engineers. Baya Systems plans to increase headcount to over 100 employees by the end of 2026. The expansion underscores the company’s focus on boosting execution speed, strengthening cross-location collaboration and accelerating the delivery of next-generation fabric IP, while continuing to invest in India’s semiconductor and software talent ecosystem.
