IPRCL Floats ₹77.41 Crore EPC Tender for 6.25 MW Tuticorin Offshore Wind Project
Tuticorin | November 4, 2026
Indian Port Rail & Ropeway Corporation Limited (IPRCL) has issued a tender valued at approximately ₹77.41 crore for the development of a 6.25 MW offshore wind energy project at Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu.
The proposed contract covers Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) activities, along with two years of operation and maintenance services following project commissioning.
The development will involve wind energy generation equipment, supporting electrical systems, installation infrastructure and associated project facilities.
The project aims to strengthen renewable energy development in coastal infrastructure and support India's growing interest in offshore wind power generation.
The tender is expected to attract participation from renewable energy EPC contractors, wind turbine manufacturers, marine engineering companies and electrical equipment suppliers.
Originally issued on July 30, 2026, the tender was reported again on November 4, 2026, and should be treated as an existing procurement opportunity rather than a newly issued tender
