Aster DM Healthcare Invests ₹96 Crore to Expand Aster Whitefield Hospital by 159 Beds.

Aster DM Healthcare, one of India’s largest integrated healthcare providers, has invested ₹96 crore to expand its Women & Children facility at Aster Whitefield Hospital in Bengaluru.

With this expansion, the hospital’s total bed capacity will rise from 380 to 539 beds. The new 159-bed dedicated Women & Children facility will focus on comprehensive maternity care, covering services from preconception through childbirth.

The expanded unit will offer specialised services including water birthing, advanced laparoscopic gynaecology, a child development centre, foetal medicine and surgery unit, a level 3A NICU, fertility services, neonatal and paediatric surgical care, as well as a paediatric intensive care unit and high-dependency unit (HDU), the company said.
