Ashok Leyland Secures ₹298-Crore Bus Order from TN State Transport Corporation.

Ashok Leyland announced recently that it has secured an order worth ₹298 crore to supply 320 BS VI diesel-powered, 12-meter low-floor buses to the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC).

Designed for city operations, these ultra-low-entry, rear-engine buses are equipped with advanced iGen 6 BS VI technology. They feature an H-Series engine that delivers 184 kW (246 hp) and come with front and rear air suspension to enhance passenger comfort.

The company stated that deliveries are scheduled to take place between June 2025 and August 2025.
