Andhra Pradesh Invites National University of Singapore to Establish Presence in Amaravati.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has invited the National University of Singapore (NUS) to establish an international branch or satellite campus in Amaravati as part of the State's efforts to develop the capital city into a global education hub.

During his visit to Singapore, Naidu met Tan Eng Chye, President of NUS, on Monday and discussed opportunities for academic collaboration, research partnerships and the expansion of higher education initiatives in Andhra Pradesh.

The Chief Minister highlighted the State government's vision of transforming Amaravati into a leading centre for education, innovation and knowledge-driven development. He noted that several prestigious educational institutions have already established a presence in the capital region, strengthening its position as an emerging academic destination.

The discussions also focused on potential avenues for cooperation between Andhra Pradesh and NUS in areas such as research, talent development and global academic exchange.

The invitation to NUS is part of the State's broader strategy to attract internationally renowned institutions and create a world-class higher education ecosystem in Amaravati.
