Amit Shah Inaugurates ₹325-Crore Sabar Dairy Plant in Rohtak.

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah recently inaugurated the newly built Sabar Dairy Plant at the Industrial Model Township in Rohtak, reaffirming the Centre’s focus on strengthening India’s cooperative sector.

Constructed at a cost of ₹325 crore, the modern facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and is projected to create both direct and indirect employment for nearly 1,000 people, according to an official statement.

The new dairy plant is expected to significantly boost milk processing capacity in the region and contribute to the economic empowerment of local farmers. Shah’s visit highlights the government’s ongoing commitment to expanding cooperative-based development initiatives across the country.
