Alstom T&D bags Rs 150-cr contract from Jaypee Group

Alstom T&D has been awarded a contract worth Rs 150 crore by Jaypee Group for the 1,320 MW thermal power project in Uttar Pradesh.

The scope of work for Alstom T&D includes designing, manufacturing, supply, erection testing and commissioning generator transformers.

The transformers and reactors for this project would be manufactured at the company's Vadodra unit.
