Tripura’s Investment Push Gains Momentum with ₹1.21 Lakh Crore Commitments.
Tripura has strengthened its position as an emerging investment destination, with the Destination Tripura – Business Conclave 2026 attracting investment intent worth ₹1,21,303 crore through 342 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) across multiple sectors of the state economy.
The investment commitments reflect growing interest in Tripura’s development potential, supported by improvements in infrastructure, governance reforms and efforts to create a more business-friendly environment.
Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Minister of Communications and Minister of Development of North Eastern Region, said Tripura’s focus on deregulation, better governance and infrastructure development has enhanced its appeal as an investment destination for industries.
Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, said Tripura’s achievement of securing the top rank in the country in business reforms, deregulation and compliance reduction demonstrates the state’s commitment to building an enabling ecosystem for businesses.
The conclave highlighted Tripura’s efforts to attract investments across diverse sectors and accelerate economic growth in the state.
