Transformers & Rectifiers Soars with Rs 148 Crore Order Acquisition
Transformers And Rectifiers (India) was locked in an upper circuit of 5% at Rs 761.45 after receiving multiple orders totaling Rs 148.55 crore. The company secured contracts from NCC, Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), and Adani Energy Solutions for the supply of transformers and reactors, specifically for the PPP-8, 9 & 10 RTM Rajasthan project.
NCC's order, valued at Rs 72.5 crore, involves the design, engineering, manufacture, testing, supply, and installation of 2 units of 500 MVA, 400/220/33 kV transformers and 2 units of 125 MVAr, 420 KV reactors. This project is expected to be completed by January 2026.
Following this news, NCC gained 1.41% to Rs 320.75, Power Grid Corporation of India fell 0.89% to Rs 327.8, and Adani Energy Solutions rose 0.56% to Rs 1,003.50 on the BSE.
Transformers & Rectifiers (India), a producer of transformers for both domestic and international markets, reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 41.62 crore in Q4 FY24, a significant increase from Rs 9.6 crore in Q4 FY23. The company's revenue from operations also grew by 16.96% to Rs 512.7 crore in Q4 FY24.
