TKIL Industries Makes Major Bet on Railway Batteries and Green Hydrogen.
TKIL Industries is ramping up its clean energy ambitions by forming exclusive strategic partnerships in railway battery systems, compressed biogas (CBG), and green hydrogen, aiming to strengthen its portfolio and contribute to India's decarbonization goals.
As part of its diversification strategy, TKIL has signed an agreement with Germany-based HOPPECKE Batterien GmbH & Co to supply advanced battery systems for the rail sector, bringing cutting-edge energy storage solutions to India’s transportation infrastructure.
In the biogas space, the company has partnered with KIS Group, a global leader in CBG technology, to boost biogas production using sugar plant by-products and other biomass—supporting sustainable energy generation through waste-to-energy innovation.
Additionally, TKIL has entered the green hydrogen sector through a strategic investment in Swiss start-up SoHHYtec, which is developing photochemical reactor technology to produce hydrogen using solar energy.
These moves signal TKIL’s commitment to driving India’s clean energy transition by investing in high-impact technologies across key green sectors.
